| The requirement for active membership status is that the applicant currently hold a position involving job training, safety education or safety program administration with an operating electric utility.
Persons that hold an administrative or supervisory position where less than 50 percent of their active duties involve job training and safety education are eligible for associate membership.
Current membership is a testimony to the diversity of the group, with members coming from organizations such as cooperative, municipal and investor owned utilities, contractors and consulting firms.
